SUMMARY:Maynard Book Festival Workshop: The Streets Where They Lived
DESCRIPTION:Beloved art teacher Sharon Santillo returns to Maynard to lead this special workshop. Using collage and a mix of art materials\, we will build small accordion books (4” x 6”) celebrating the streets where our families have lived. We will use some of the book pages in our accordion books to list factual places and dates that are known\, record little family stories passed down about these places\, and end with your personal story of choice and chance\, why you live where you do\, whether it be close or far from home.
