The Maynard Voice is a free, online, nonprofit publication dedicated to keeping our community informed.

We hope you are enjoying the Maynard Voice monthly on-line newspaper. As always, we are looking for your comments and feedback to continually improve on our mission to provide accessible, accurate, non-partisan information to residents, businesses and stakeholders.
We report monthly about town government, schools, local businesses, sports, arts and community events.
First-Year Highlights:
The Maynard Voice showed strong first-year growth and engagement from June 2025 through June 2026.
The audience grew from 489 subscribing recipients to 1,139 recipients, a net gain of 650 people, or approximately 133%. The most significant growth occurred between March and April 2026, when the list increased by 319 recipients. Part of this was driven by a direct mailing to all Maynard households showcasing this new local news source.
Across 13 monthly publications, the newsletter had 10,000 successful deliveries, 4,490 recipients who opened and 3,596 recipients who clicked at least one link.
The strongest reader interest centered on practical and timely local information. The top-performing article was the April 2026 story on changes to Maynard’s trash and recycling program, followed by stories on:
- Local businesses
- Police blotter updates
- Town services
- Community features and civic issues
The analysis suggests that readers are especially engaged by:
- Town government and public services
- Public safety updates
- Local business and economic development
- Arts, culture, and community life
- Practical information that helps residents understand local changes
The analytics on our monthly email to subscribers suggests it functions as a portal to the website maynardvoice.com, with homepage and navigation links receiving substantial traffic. This indicates that readers are not only clicking individual stories, but also using the newsletter to explore The Maynard Voice more broadly.
Overall, the first-year data shows strong evidence of community demand for The Maynard Voice. The free subscription audience more than doubled, engagement remained high, and readers consistently clicked on stories connected to civic life, public services, local events and community identity.
