Families have a new way to shop sustainably, get creative together, and build community. Thrifty Littles, a pop-up children’s thrift store founded by local moms Sarah Luther and Sherri Michaud Dilago launched this May.

Thrifty Littles is currently popping up at local events, markets, and community spaces with a curated selection of gently used children’s clothing (newborn to pre-teen), interactive upcycling activities, and eco-friendly DIY crafts. The goal? To make sustainable shopping and creative reuse both accessible and fun. In addition to pop-up events, Thrifty Littles offers a simple, family-friendly consignment model to help parents earn back on gently used kid’s clothing while contributing to a more sustainable local economy.
“We wanted to build a space where families could come together- not just to shop sustainably, but to connect, create, have fun and enjoy time with one another,” says Sherri. “Thrifty Littles is rooted in care- for people, for the planet, and for experiences that spark joy and deepen meaningful connection in our everyday lives.”
What sets Thrifty Littles apart from traditional consignment or thrift shops is its blend of purpose and play. Alongside their pop-up sales, the team has future goals of hosting hands-on craft events for all ages using recycled materials.
“Children outgrow their clothes so quickly- it’s a wonderful opportunity to reuse what we already have,” says co-founder Sarah. “We want to help families stretch their budgets, reduce their impact on the planet, and feel connected to something bigger than themselves.”
The vision for Thrifty Littles is to eventually grow into a permanent storefront in Maynard, a creative, community-centered space where families can shop, craft, and connect year-round. Until then, the team is focused on building relationships and sharing their mission through regular pop-ups and partnerships with local businesses. The team has been honored to partner with Donoma Gymnastics, Felixology, Maynard Pride and the Framingham Farmer’s Market thus far!
Upcoming events and pop-up dates can be found by following Thrifty Littles on social media. Their next pop-up will be at Amory’s Tomb Brewing Co. Saturday August 2nd and Saturday August 9th from noon- 4pm. Donations are always welcome and Thrifty Littles offers a 15% off coupon for future purchases.
Whether you’re a parent looking to save on stylish, secondhand finds or a grandparent wanting to craft with your grandkids, Thrifty Littles offers something fresh, fun, and rooted in values that matter. Please reach out to the team at [email protected] if you’d like to connect!
