Maynard Fest Slated for October 4th

Maynard Fest is slated for Saturday, October 4th, from 9 am. to 3:30 pm. An old-fashioned street fair, this event hosts a handful of sidewalks sales, over 100 vendors, dozens of family-friendly activities, and free performances in Memorial Park and the Sanctuary. Vendor space is SOLD OUT, and the wait list has been closed.

Friends of the Maynard Public Library 2025 Annual Fall Used Book Sale

On Saturday, October 4, from 10 AM – 4 PM at the library on 77 Nason Street, the Friends of the Maynard Public Library will hold their fall used book sale as part of MaynardFest. The sale continues on Sunday, October 5 from 12 PM – 3 PM with most items at half price. 

There will be thousands of books for adults including thrillers, mysteries, bestselling fiction, cookbooks, gardening books, travel books and biographies. There will be board books, picture books, chapter books and popular series for kids and teens. DVDs and music CDs will also be available, as well as a selection of jigsaw puzzles. All items are at bargain prices! 

More good news – credit cards are now accepted.
