Obituary Submission Guidelines
- Word Limit: Obituaries may be up to 1,200 words. Our editorial team may make minor edits for clarity or length.
- Deadlines: We publish on the 15th of each month. To ensure inclusion in the current issue, please submit by the 10th of the month.
- We will do our best to accommodate submissions received after the 10th.
- If we cannot include a late submission in the current edition, it will appear in the following month’s edition.
- Photos: A photo of the deceased is recommended but not required. If provided, please upload a high-resolution image (JPEG or PNG).
- Services and Donations: You may include information about memorial services, funeral arrangements, or charitable donation requests.
- Verification: We require contact information for the person submitting the obituary, as well as the name and contact information of The Funeral Home. This will not be published but may be used to confirm details.
- Publication: Obituaries will appear on The Maynard Voice website and may also be listed in our monthly newsletter.
