November 6:

BROWN ST; Acton PD reported they had a vehicle pulled over that may have caused property damage in Maynard. They requested that Maynard Police officers check Brown Street for any property damage or any parts of the vehicle. Officers checked the area and reported there was nothing showing. Acton was advised.

November 7:

CRANE AVE; The reporting party stated his package was delivered empty. Spoke to post office they said to report it the PD.

BATES AVE; The calling party reported a bike was left on her property a few days ago.

TIGER DR; Chief Troiano received a report of an abandoned bicycle at the Green Meadow School along the construction fence. The bicycle is too big to fit in a cruiser, the DPW was emailed.

APPLE RIDGE RD; The calling party reported that he had video of somebody holding a tool and prowling through his backyard.

DIGITAL WAY; Halstead employee requested to speak with an officer about a difficult resident.

CONCORD ST; The calling party reported there was a squirrel in his house. Animal control was notified.

November 8:

WOODRIDGE RD; Officers attempting to serve immediate threat paperwork. Unable to serve, no answer at the door.

TIGER DR; The calling party reported a vehicle that was idle on the listed address for some time. The reporting party stated they appeared to be asleep at the wheel. Officer reported that it was a livery driver waiting for someone at the high school.

GREAT RD; Vehicle stopped for distracted driving.

BROWN ST; Vehicle stopped for towing a vehicle on a trailer not rated for its weight. Also had no working brake lights. Issued warning, explained the rules/regulations and followed home. Owner parked trailer and vehicle and will find a trailer that can safely transport vehicle to Vermont.

GREAT RD; Officer stopped the listed MV for traveling on a flat tire. Female placed under arrest for OUI. Concord female Officer responded for matron duty.

GREAT RD; The calling party reported an erratic driver coming from Sudbury on to Great Rd.  Officer spoke with the driver who checked ok and was just lost.  

November 9:

FAIRFIELD ST; Caller reported that one of her ferrets went missing approximately 2 weeks ago and she received a call from an unknown party stating that they had the missing ferret.

MAIN ST; The calling party reported a vehicle parked in a 15 minute parking spot for the past 2 hours. Gone on arrival.

November 10:

DIGITAL WAY; The calling party reported that the involved party was near Market Basket yelling and had been harassing residents and employees all day. Officer reported that Market Basket was familiar with the individual, and she was not there.

BROOKS ST; The calling party reported there was a naked male running down the street. Officers located the male on Brooks Street. Fire Department was requested for an evaluation. The Fire Department transported him to Emerson Hospital.

PERCIVAL ST; The calling party reported that there was a black SUV parked near the basketball court that she did not recognize. Officer reported that he spoke with the operator of the vehicle who had been there to play basketball.

November 11:

 DOWNTOWN; Walk in party reported that he lost his diabetic meter at the Veterans Day parade today.  

MAIN ST; Caller reported an erratic operator following him on Rt 117. Caller was instructed to come to the station to follow up with an Officer. Officer spoke to both parties about their driving behavior.

November 12:

DIGITAL WAY; The reporting party would like to file an accident report. Her car was hit in the Market Basket parking lot.

BROWN ST; Acton PD reported an erratic operator in a Honda CRV coming into our town. Officer spoke to the involved party.

November 13:

FAIRFIELD ST; 911 caller stated that someone is demanding ransom for her missing pet ferret and was threatening to kill it if not paid. Officer responded to investigate. After an investigation the ferret was located in Dover and rescued by Dover PD. Owners will travel to retrieve pet.

 PARKER ST; The calling party reported a head on collision with another vehicle. Reporting party said she did not know where the other vehicle was. Officers stated they left prior to arrival. She stated her 8 y/o daughter might have a head injury connected to the accident. Surrounding towns notified. Driver was found and arrested for child endangerment/OUI.

November 14:

POWDER MILL RD; The calling party reported that a shirtless male came up to the residence yelling and threatening. He then left on foot toward Dawn Road. A second caller reported two males fighting on Powder Mill Road. Officer reported one male taken into protective custody.  

November 15:

RAIL TRAIL; Grey apple watch w/ metal band found on rail trail.

WALTHAM ST + POWDER MILL RD; Attempting to reset the lights at the above intersection. Unable to reset at this time, Officer standing by monitoring traffic.

November 16:

GREAT RD + MAIN ST; Officer reported a vehicle against a telephone pole with fire present under the engine of the vehicle. Fire Department has been dispatched.  Electric lines damaged. Occupant of the vehicle has been removed.   Operator of the vehicle in custody and arrested for OUI Liquor, negligent operation of vehicle and marked lanes violation.

GREAT ROAD + TIGER DRIVE; Deer hit by cruiser. Animal Control Officer notified.

November 18:

RAILTRAIL; The reporting party stated he found a wallet near the river by the rail trail.

GREAT ROAD; The calling party reported five vehicles gathering at Saint Bridgets cemetery. He stated that this has happened multiple times. Officer reported that the area checked clear.

November 19:

HAYNES ST; The calling party reported a disabled customer in an unsafe location, they stated the customer was pregnant and needed a tire changed. Officer reported that they were able to change the tire and was all set.

November 20: 

MAIN ST; The calling party reported a vehicle driving around slowly and an odor of marijuana at the listed address, looked suspicious. Officer reported no odor of marijuana.

CONCORD ST CIRCLE; The calling party reported she had left her belongings in the hallway to use the bathroom. Upon returning to the hallway her belongings were gone. Officer went to the office to see if he could review video footage. Officer located the package. A neighbor had brought it into their apartment thinking it was door dash. The belongings were returned to their owner.

MAIN ST; Unlawful left turn into CVS parking lot from Main Street.

November 22:

PARKER ST + WALTHAM ST; Caller reports she was just rear ended. Appears to be damage only, no injury or airbags reported. No damage to either vehicle both parties advised.

November 23: 

GREAT RD; Concord PD reported an erratic operator last seen traveling west bound on Rt 62, possibly heading towards Rt 117. Vehicle was described as traveling all over the roadway. Units advised.

November 24:

TIGER DR; Drill/Lock down. Officer went to the high school to do an ALICE training and test the emergency button.  (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate)

GREAT RD; The calling party reported an accident involving a car and a motorcycle. She stated that the motorcyclist was on the ground and not moving.  Sudbury Police Dept notified family. Control called Lahey for an update and were advised the male was currently in surgery.

November 25: 

BUTLER AVE; Caller stated she believed that someone was knocking on the kitchen window by her driveway. Residence checks okay, nothing showing in the neighborhood and residents were advised.

REO RD; The calling party reported a bike with a bag and cell phone that was unattended at the entrance of Reo Playground. Officer found the youth to whom the items belonged.

November 26:

POWDER MILL RD; Commercial burglar alarm activation received from the above location, multiple receiving alarms activated. Front door is unlocked upon arrival; back door appears to be secured. Confirmed employees on site, accidental activation.

SUMMER ST + FLORIDA RD; Vehicle stopped at the intersection of Florida Rd and Summer Street. No issues at this time. Driver playing Pokémon game with her grandson & warning issued.

MAIN ST; Caller reported a male passed out in the men’s bathroom at the above location – confirmed to be breathing. While on the line the caller stated that the male was being carried out by his friends towards the back of the building. Units on route in attempts to make contact prior to leaving. Officer confirms that the male party is alert, conscious and breathing at this time. Male party is in the custody of 2 friends who have not been drinking, all parties have left the area in the attached vehicle.  

November 28:

ELM ST; Walk-in  Party requesting to speak with an officer regarding zoning Laws for Town of Maynard.

SUDBURY ST; Caller reports that he received a package that he feels is suspicious. He reports it is not leaking any fluids but it’s not addressed to him, the writing is in red pen, and he is requesting some assistance with next steps. Officer reports there appears to be nothing suspicious and he will deliver the package to the correct address.

November 29:

POWDER MILL RD; The calling party reported that a disgruntled employee broke the front window and left the area in a black vehicle, unknown direction of travel.
