February 4: 

WALCOTT ST; The calling party reported a pupil bus was disabled in the roadway.

February 5: 

TIGER DR; ALICE Drill.

TIGER DR; The calling party reported that while her son was being dropped off in the school line, an EL Harvey truck cut into the line and came close hitting her son as he was exiting the vehicle.

February 7: 

GREAT RD; The calling party reported that he slid into a fire hydrant. The caller reported he had no injuries. An officer arrived on scene and reported the fire hydrant was knocked off and pushed into the snowbank, but water was not coming from it. The officer transported the party back to his residence. The Water Department notified the Fire Department that the fire hydrant was out of service.

February 8: 

ACTON ST;  The calling party stated she saw a young boy wearing an orange sweatshirt walking and thought it seemed suspicious. Caller felt as though the boy was underdressed for the cold.  

February 10: 

MILL AND MAIN PL; The calling party reported his dog fell into Mill Pond. Fire Department confirmed the dog was in the water and deployed rescue personnel (2 members). Command reported the dog was removed from the water. 

February 14: 

TREMONT ST; The calling party reported that when turning onto Tremont St, he saw about 6 birds land on the wires, die, and drop to the ground. Officer checked the area but found no birds on the ground.

February 15: 

CONCORD ST; Community caretaking: a vehicle was stopped in the middle of the road. The operator checked out okay and had been using their phone.

February 18: 

MAIN ST; The calling party reported that the involved individual was across the street and looking into the window.  Officer reported the individual was walking down the sidewalk and eating Pringles.

February 19:

WHITE POND RD; An officer attempted to catch a loose dog. The owner was able to get the dog back into the yard.

February 21: 

PARKER ST; The animal control officer called requesting an officer go to the listed address and put down a rabid raccoon. Officer said the raccoon appeared healthy and was acting normally and did not feel it was necessary to put it down. Message left for animal control officer.

February 22: 

SUMMER ST; The calling party reported that she was lost and could not find Market Basket. Officer made contact with her and provided directions.

MILL AND MAIN PL; Private Security reported cars doing burnouts in the parking lot. Officer reported that they were taking photos of their vehicles in the parking lot. They were advised to leave and not return.

GREAT RD; The caller reported hearing a loud noise and discovered the roof had caved in on a small garage. A possible power line from the house to the garage was involved. Fire Department Engine 1 arrived on scene and shut off power to the garage from the home. No hazards remained. A message was left for the building inspector.

February 23:

MAIN ST; Caller advised someone struck his motor vehicle while plowing the parking lot. The caller advised he had a dash camera in the vehicle which activates during impact. Officer responded to investigate. 

TOWER RD; Large limb took out power line from pole 4 to pole 5. Eversource Electric was notified. 

RICKEY DR; The calling party reported a group of youths had built a snow fort inside a snowbank and were going inside it. They were not causing an issue; he just wanted to ensure that a snow plow did not push additional snow against it and trap someone inside. An officer made contact with a parent on scene, who was advised to watch for plows. All children checked out okay.

February 24: 

GREAT RD; The calling party reported there was a gas-powered machine going up and down Great Road and stated it appeared they were looking at his house. The Department of Public Works reported it was their machine being used to clear sidewalks and roads. The reporting party was notified.

SUMMER ST; The reporting party stated that her son paid $50.00 to a scammer through Venmo. 

HOWARD RD + SUMMER ST; Caller reported a tall snow bank at the listed intersection and requested that the Department of Public Works remove it. Officer also received a call for the same issue at Powder Mill Rd and Douglas Ave and a future call was generated as well. 

February 25: 

HOWARD RD + SUMMER ST; Officer was informed of a large snow bank that was impeding traffic and blocking the view as people attempted to merge. The Department of Public Works was to be contacted in the morning. 

February 27: 

DIGITAL WAY; The reporting party stated that her vehicle was hit at the listed address. Officer obtained video footage for the MVA Hit and Run report. 

MAIN ST; A walk in party wanted to speak to an officer because their landlord or maintenance keeps entering their apartment without prior permission. Officer spoke to the reporting party and it appears to be a maintenance worker. Property owner contacted and stated he would speak to the maintenance workers to ensure it would not happen again. Reporting party did not wish to proceed further.

SUDBURY ST; The reporting party stated she walked past the listed address and heard two children yelling for help out of a window. Officer reported that he spoke to the parents and everything checked out okay. 

February 28: 

MAIN ST; The calling party reported that someone stole her sister’s dog from her vehicle. No description was given, as the calling party could not speak clearly due to being distraught. An officer arrived at the residence to check if the dog was there. There was no answer and no sound of a dog inside.  After searching, the officer later confirmed the dog was inside the reporting party’s apartment and had not been stolen.
