Folk icon Tom Rush comes to Sanctuary Cultural Arts Center, 82 Main St., on Sunday, March 29. With a career spanning more than 60 years, Rush is credited by Rolling Stone with helping usher in the era of the singer-songwriter — and his early recordings introduced the world to the work of Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne and James Taylor.

His shows are known for wry humor, warm storytelling and a catalog that spans the full sweep of American folk and blues. Rush will also be celebrating his latest album, “Gardens Old, Flowers New,” his first collection of new music since 2018.
Stay tuned — we’ll be chatting with Tom Rush before the show for an exclusive interview. In the meantime, grab your tickets and get ready for a great night of music.
