June 1:

EUCLID AVE; Officers responded to the listed address for a burglar alarm, front door motion. Officer reported that it was set off by an employee. Both units clear.

APPLE RIDGE RD; The Fire Department received a call directly about faulty smoke detectors. Captain advised the homeowner that they were expired and needed to be replaced.

EUCLID AVE; Engine 1 responded to the listed address for a commercial fire alarm activation, garage heat sensor. Command reported that the panel was in trouble and they were not able to reset the alarm. There are on-going issues with a communication wire that was pulled down during a storm.

POWDER MILL RD; The reporting party located a wallet in the Stow Town Woods belonging to the involved party.  Officer reported that the wallet was returned to the owner.

KARLEE DR; Officer informed the resident of a nearby coyote as their dog was outside.

June 2:

DIGITAL WAY; Subject was checked on as he is living in his car. He was provided with housing options.

MAIN ST; The calling party reported a dead female possum with a pouch full of a dozen babies on the street, unknown if the babies were alive or not. Animal Control Officer was notified.

PARKER ST; The calling party reported a Breaking and Entering at the listed address. Someone broke into their main shed overnight. The locks were broken and the door looked as though it had been kicked in. Caller did not touch anything and had taken photos.

BOESKE AVE; The reporting party requested to turn in old ammunition. Officer took the ammunition.

June 3:

SUMMER HILL GLEN; The calling party reported that her elderly mother wandered away from the residence and she has dementia.  K9 assistance requested. Drone has been deployed in the area. Party has been located. 

GLENDALE ST; Caller reports that there is a raccoon on her porch that is blocking her from being able to enter her home. Animal Control Officer was notified and will be making contact with the reporting party.

TREMONT ST + WILDER ST; The calling party reported low hanging wires at the listed intersection. She was advised that Comcast and Verizon had been notified multiple times. Verizon reported it was a Comcast line, and Comcast was notified again.

June 6:

MILL ST; Walk in party found a wallet on Mill St.

June 7:

FLORIDA RD; Caller reports that there has been a motorcycle passing by repeatedly and making a lot of loud noise. Party has been spoken to.

RIVERBANK RD; Reporting party states that he has video footage of a suspicious party on his property.

June 8:

MAIN ST; The conservation agent reported a fraudulent invoice had been sent to a resident. Detective assigned for follow-up.

DIGITAL WAY; Middlesex Savings Bank called stating that one of their customers is a victim of fraud. Party advised to contact Stow Police as all of the computer-based communications occurred at customer’s home in Stow. Stow Police Department was notified the individual would be coming to file a report.

June 9:

CUTTING DR; Officer standing by to keep the peace for Property pick up.

PERCIVAL ST; The calling party reported a turtle on the sidewalk with its eyes closed and only moving its head, not sure if it is injured. Officers were able to get the turtle back near the water.

June 11:

O’MOORE AVE; The calling party reported a male party in Hawaiian shirt going around knocking on doors claiming to be pest control with no ID. Officer was able to locate the male in his vehicle and informed him of the solicitation by-law.

June 12:

WISTERIA LANE; Caller reported that she was stuck in her overheated car and was in need of assistance to get out. Officer was able to get the individual to exit the vehicle thru the trunk. 

June 16:

GARFIELD ST; Several callers reported a structure fire.  Fire Department responded. Fire Investigator, Eversource, Building Inspector notified.   

FLORIDA CT; Caller reported that he is concerned about the involved party who has been making bizarre posts on Facebook regarding AI and being a God. No suicidal statements. Officers attempted to make contact with the involved party at his residence. Party refused to open the door. He called 911 and stated that he was working and to come back with a warrant. Officer made contact with the reporting party. No services needed.

June 17:

GLENDALE ST; Chief received a report of a moving truck in the middle of the road on Glendale St. making it hard for traffic to pass. Officer spoke with the driver of the vehicle and they moved it.

MAIN ST; The calling party reported a group of children riding E bikes in the back parking lot, not paying attention, and one child was almost hit by a car.

SHERMAN ST; The calling party reported a male had knocked on his door and was looking into his house. The neighbor had also run into this party who stated they worked for a solar company but would not provide any ID. Officers unable to locate the individual.

June 18:

DIGITAL WAY; Caller reports smoke from an electrical cord. No flames. Engine 1 reports that the cause was from water leaking onto the electrical cord. No hazards at this time.

DIGITAL WAY; The reporting party states that earlier in the day at the planet fitness parking lot someone struck his vehicle and then left the premises. Checked in with Planet Fitness staff to obtain video. No video of incident available.

June 19:

ELM ST; Calling party reported their neighbor’s son was having a campfire outside of his residence. Caller stated that she was nervous about the spread of fire. Officer spoke to the party and they will be extinguishing the campfire.

ELM ST; Anonymous caller reports neighbor’s fire is still going. Maynard Fire and police dispatched for the unpermitted burn. Resident spoken to and advises fire is being used for cooking. Caller advised.

June 22:

SUMMER ST; Caller stated that his granddaughter took his car to work and ended up getting 2 flat tires. Car is moved over to the side of the road and granddaughter is safe at work. Just making us aware that he is getting a tow company to come and tow the car.

DIGITAL WAY; Caller reported a resident had assaulted her and wanted to file a report. No injuries reported to either party. Both parties are separated at this time.

June 24:

MILL AND MAIN PL; Caller reported he was meeting a person to drop off some medication. The person he was dropping it off to was causing a problem and he was looking for police assistance.

WOOD LN; Calling party requested a wellbeing check on his father who had an earlier medical emergency and was wheezing over the phone. Calling party also had concerns about his sister who was also staying at the residence.

SUMMER ST; Caller reported a set of lost keys, caller described the keys to have a purple carabiner, a Chevy key fob, and 4 house keys attached.

June 25:

MAIN ST; Walk in reported that the Open Table establishment had the door open with the deadbolt engaged. Officers were able to secure the building, and did a walk through. Confirmed no individuals inside nor anything looked suspicious, appears to be oversight.

June 26:

MAIN ST; The reporting party stated that he was receiving threats over text message from an employee.

HILLSIDE ST; The calling party reported that vehicles were speeding up Hillside Street and going the wrong way. He was advised that a Police Officer would conduct enforcement in the area.

MAIN ST; A McDonald’s employee reported a male inside of the store taking receipts and demanding food. The employee reported that the individual was not supposed to be inside of the store. Officer reported that the male party was served a No Trespass.

June 27:

DIGITAL WAY; Caller reported a car alarm that has been going off since 6am behind the paper store. Officer located the vehicle and left a message with the owner to rectify the noise complaint. Officer spoke with Lincoln PD and the owner of the car is on the way to move it.

POWDER MILL RD; Walk in party looking for advice on standing around in public.

ASSABET ST; Caller is concerned about recent animal deaths in area including a squirrel that was convulsing in her front yard. ACO notified to speak with caller.

June 28:

DEER PATH; Walk in party brought in a suspicious envelope that her daughter received in the mail. The envelope contained a chip of some sort in it. Officer looked inside envelope and discovered a small watch battery.  Appears to have been sent to the  wrong address.

HIGH ST; Caller reported that she lost her engagement ring. It is a ladies custom made 1 carat diamond engagement ring. 

MAIN ST; Caller reports an alarm sounding from inside of the Post Office. Officers investigated the alarm. The building was found secure and the Post Master was notified of the alarm.

FLORIDA RD; Caller reported an erratic operator driving a gray pickup truck on Florida Rd. A second caller reported that a vehicle matching the same description was operating erratically on Summer St. and crashed in Stow.

June 30:

ACTON ST + CONCORD ST; Officer assisted disabled motorist to the side of the road safely. Motorist was waiting for his father to come with a gas can as he ran out of gas.
