April 1

ABBOTT RD: The calling party saw a party in a black SUV take mail from her neighbors’ mailbox from across the street, no plate number given.

DIGITAL WAY: Calling party stated the male was standing in front of Market Basket, stating former President Joseph Biden was a pedophile. Officers responded and spoke with the male who was campaigning for political office.

April 2

POWDER MILL RD + DEER PATH: Driving with only daytime running lights. Operator was found to be lost and emotional due to his wife being admitted to Emerson Hospital. Operator was escorted to the Route 2 rotary where he said he would know the way from there as he lives on the Chelmsford/Carlisle town line.

April 3

POWDER MILL RD: The calling party reported a male dressed in all black walking outside of the listed address that seemed suspicious.

TURNER RD: Officer spoke with the involved party in regards to a stolen lawnmower/trailer.

April 4

NASON ST: Maynard Public Library requested officer to check muskets for presentations. Officer reported the firearms checked okay.

April 5

FLETCHER ST: The calling party reported a large white and tan dog w/ a red collar across the street from her house wandering around. She attempted to get it into her fenced in backyard but it was barking at her. Calling party does not recognize the dog. Animal Control Officer was notified.

April 6

GREAT RD: Officer assisted operator whose property fell off of the vehicle.

MAPLE CT: The calling party reported a speaker in a trash bag was left on her front steps, unknown who it belonged to. Officer reported that a karaoke machine and mic were in the trash.

MAPLE ST: The reporting party found a brown wallet on the sidewalk at the address listed above.

SUNSET RD: The calling party reported her daughter’s Samsung Android with a green case was lost in the area of the address listed above. She was advised if turned in, we will call back.

April 8

ACTON ST: The walk in party found a passport and driver license in a rental car that had been returned.

GREAT RD + PARKER ST: Marlborough PD reported a live ping for a vehicle involved in an auto theft. Officers were on the lookout at the address listed above. Marlborough PD requested a stop, hold and tow for the vehicle. Officers checked the area of Parker Street, Great Road and Kitty Cat Lane, unable to locate. Marlborough PD reported vehicle in the intersection of Parker Street and Great Road, Hudson Street and Sudbury Street and Kitty Cat Lane and Parker Street. Sudbury PD notified. Marlborough reported that they no longer have a ping, will call back once they have the live ping back.

KRISTEN LN: Vehicle was checked on in the area of stolen car pings. Officer reported that the operator handed a fake driver’s license and was drunk. Officer requested a tow. Arrest of Sudbury man was made.

PARKER ST: Suspicious vehicle. Officer reported it was a private investigator from The Universal Company, was advised to check into Maynard Police Department next time.

MAIN ST: Officer reported that Cruiser 19 has a flat rear passenger tire.

WALTHAM ST: The calling party reported an injured owl at the address listed above. Caller was advised that Animal Control would be notified.

April 11

FRONT ST: Call regarding a sick beaver that needs to be put down. Officer responded.

DAWN RD: Walk in party would like to speak to an officer regarding her doorbell camera that was taken off her house last night.

April 12

WALTHAM ST: Caller reported vehicle parked in someone’s assigned parking space for an extended period of time and the vehicle is idling. Officers found the males were meeting someone from a dating app and parked off private property after speaking to officers.

SUMMER ST: Caller reports that smoke detectors have been activated. Set off from smoke from birthday candles. System reset and holding.

April 13

RAILROAD ST: The caller believes that her shoes, as well as possibly a package, were taken from her front porch.

April 14

DIGITAL WAY: The calling party reported that mulch in the rotary is smoking. She threw some water on it but it still had embers and was smoking. Officer reports it was started from a single cigarette and that the area has been watered down.

April 15

RAILROAD ST: The calling party reported a male party, involved in a larceny incident report, had come onto her porch again. Description of male party: White, skinny build, t-shirt and not wearing shoes. Male party walked towards CVS. The calling party reported having video footage.

April 16

MAIN ST: The involved party requested to stay inside the station to escape the cold rainy weather.

ACTON ST + CONCORD ST: The calling party reported that she hit a crosswalk pole with her vehicle, unable to see due to the darkness. Caller waited for an officer at The Cumberland Farms store. DPW Highway Department notified. Central Mass Signal also notified.

TIGER DR: The Lowell Police Department received a report from the Boston Police Department of a suicide threat over text message via the 988 hot line. The Assabet Wildlife Refuge Officers, Stow Police Department and Sudbury Police Department were notified of the report. Officer made contact with the individual over the phone. Fire Department, School Department and Police Department clinician notified. Officer accompanied person to Emerson Hospital.

MAIN ST: Homeless woman, age 46 arrested for firearm possession without a license, receiving stolen property, possession of Class A, B, C, D and E drugs, unlicensed operation of vehicle, ammunition without FID card and open alcohol container in vehicle.

MCKINLEY ST: The calling party reported a small sinkhole in front of his house. Officer placed a cone over it and notified DPW.

April 17

MAIN ST: Escorting the male from the FD HQ to PD. Male has nowhere to stay for the night and is sitting in the lobby for the evening.

April 18

WALTHAM ST: Officers checking on a suspicious vehicle. Male party provided a work order from the bank stating he can be on the property to maintain it. There will be crews on site throughout the summer to maintain the property.

RAILROAD ST: Caller reports she has additional information and video regarding items that have been taken off her porch.

April 20

WALTHAM ST: The calling party reported a male in his vehicle was blocking and following her and was now getting out of his vehicle and yelling.

SUDBURY CT: Officer checked the address for the vehicle involved in road rage. The vehicle was not in the driveway.

WALTHAM ST: Officer attempting to get video footage from the road rage incident. Officer reports due to the camera angle at Richdale’s and Excelsior, Officers are unable to view the incident.

BROWN ST: Calling party reports a male party jumping into the roadway and tipping peoples trash cans over into the road. Male party in custody.

POWDER MILL RD: Officer checking on a parked vehicle. Officer reports it’s a mother and daughter practicing driving.

April 23

DIGITAL WAY: The Dunkin’ manager reported that two masked males came inside of the store and stole items from the counter. Manager described them as younger males wearing white sweatshirts with hoods. The incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. Juvenile arrests made.

April 25

MAIN ST: Walk in party states she clicked a link sent to her and now her phone is being hacked. Officer advised party.

April 27

DIGITAL WAY: A Paper Store employee reported that a female shoplifted a Lego set from the store, she followed her out and the female returned the item. Store employee took a photo of the license plate.

April 28

PARKER ST: The reporting party stated walking by a party who was laying on the sidewalk. Fire Department was requested for a 44-year-old male party with a laceration to the forehead.

April 29

WALTHAM ST: Call from the reporting party requesting to speak to an Officer. He found a mattress and boxes in his dumpster. Officer reported that the mattresses were from a neighbor who believed he had permission to put them in there. Party did have permission from the owner.

SUDBURY ST: The reporting party stated that he dropped his cell phone into the pond and required an entry for insurance purposes.

April 30

NORTH ST: The calling party reported an unknown party trying to open car doors 5 minutes before calling. Has video footage. Only description: Hoodie. Unknown direction of travel. Officers will be searching the area. Officer requested notification to Sudbury PD due to incident being close to the line. Sudbury PD notified.

SOUTH ST: The reporting party stated her motor vehicle was broken into last night and her bag was stolen at the address listed above.

THOMPSON ST + WALNUT ST: The calling party reported that due to the traffic detour from Great Road, vehicles were speeding down Thompson Street and that a cruiser should be posted at Walnut Street and Thompson Street. She was advised that a cruiser had been posted there last night. An officer made contact with her over the phone, and told her that a directed patrol be put in place.

ROCKLAND AVE: The calling party reported that since the start of soccer season vehicles are speeding on Rockland Avenue around 4:50 p.m. and 5:50 p.m. Extra enforcement requested.
