Come One, Come All…

On Saturday October 18th the 3rd Annual Maynard Fall Ball will take place at the Maynard Elks from 7pm to 11pm.

The Fall Ball was created 3 years ago as a way to kickstart fundraising  for The Maynard Holiday Parade. The parade is a beloved Maynard tradition, however it costs a significant amount of money to run each year. This year we anticipate costs to rise higher than ever before. The Fall Ball is a fun way for us to gather together, have a party and at the same time raise funds for this highly anticipated community event.

The Fall Ball is a costume party, but we would like everyone to know that costumes are not required to attend. You can come in jeans and many folks do! We don’t mind what you arrive in, we just want you to join us and have a great time. 

This year we have added in a food collection drive and invited our friends from the Maynard Food Pantry, the Maynard Backpack Program and Open Table to join us. They will be at the door to collect canned goods and items from their wish list. This is a great way to kickstart the Fall season for these incredible volunteers and programs who help our most vulnerable residents and neighbors struggling with food insecurity. This year the Fall Ball will be opened for all ages. Parents don’t need to get a sitter. Bring the kiddos with you! We will have free face painting, cookie decorating and temporary tattoos for the kids. 

There will be… 

⭐️A Live band …Westwood Junction, who had everyone dancing start to finish last year! 

⭐️We will officially announce this year’s Grand Marshal and Honored Guests for the 59th Maynard Holiday Parade!!! 

⭐️Costume prizes. 

⭐️Raffles. 

⭐️KBK Auctions will be in the house providing our silent auction of sports, movie and music memorabilia. 

⭐️We will have free appetizers and desserts. 

⭐️There will be a cash bar. 

⭐️Holiday parade ornaments will be for sale at the event with the original logo created specifically for the Maynard Holiday Parade by talented Maynard resident and artist Denise Shea of ArtSpace.

Tickets may be available at the door, but tickets could and hopefully will, sell out. So we encourage guests to purchase tix in advance.

The schedule for parade day is … 

12:00 The Holiday Village opens in Memorial Park. 

1:45 Santa flies over via helicopter to welcome parade goers. 

1:50 the Maynard Holiday Parade Food Drive descends the parade route. 

2:00 the 59th Maynard Holiday Parade begins!!! 

Dec 14th rain/snow date, same timing.
