Stephen Robert Beason, of Lebanon OH, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026 at University of Cincinnati Hospital with his wife by his side. Born on September 13, 1947 to Marion and Betty Lou (nee: Bottorff) Beason in Xenia, OH.

Steve was a Navy veteran of 7 years and later served in executive leadership roles with companies including Lamson Corp in NY and IBM. He then founded and operated several companies.

Steve will be remembered for his love of laughter and life, his courage and authenticity, and his unwavering dedication to family and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Justin Beason and Nicholas Beason and one brother, James Beason.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Patricia (nee: Stigliani) Beason, his daughter, Mandy (Paul) Copeland of Beavercreek, OH, sister, Cindy Brown, two grandchildren, Cody and Luke Copeland, his sister-in-law, Mary Gunn, and brother-in-law, Joseph Stigliani and nieces, nephews.

A funeral mass at 10 AM will be celebrated on Saturday, June20th at St Bridget’s Church, Maynard, MA with burial immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Justin R. & Nicholas S. Scholarship at Wright State University.
